Smithsonian Air and Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy

Save the date of Feb 15, 2020 on your calendars.  The Patuxent Aeromodelers are doing a road trip to visit the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy complex in VA.  We will have a private docent tour of this museum.   The Udvar-Hazy is home to several significant and historic air and space craft.  These include the SR-71, Concord, Space Shuttle Discovery along with aircraft representing WWII, Korean War and Vietnam. The tour normal lasts about 2 hours.  The last time club went our tour lasted close to 3 hours.  For more information on the museum check out the link; https://airandspace.si.edu/udvar-hazy-center.

For this day trip, it is recommended we car pool.  There is a $15.00 parking fee at the museum.  Admission to the museum is free. The car pool will form at the old Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant at 7:30 AM.  For information contact David Ansalvish @ pdansalvish@comcast.net
